The problem with these flag pages is that they need to be updated by the respective flag members. I would love to see these head toward simply history pages. Unfortunately the flag tracker is down, but linking to that for current info (via templates? hmm....) would be ideal. --Callistan 07:58, 17 Jun 2005 (UTC)

What makes one flag "notable" and "worth" of listing here? Have participated in a blockade? And yes, I think the flag pages really don't need to say much more than history. --VPeric
- I'd guess that flags with some sort of noticeable history would be what's desired. That would include things like being present/previous island holders, being part of some giant war thingee, supporter of long running or large events. At least that's my take on it. Using Categories rather than manually adding flags[]
I've created a category Flag, and a couple Flag:<ocean> subcategories. This will automatically link any new flag sites (as well as alphebetize!) rather than relying on manually editing a list.
There is one issue, that all these phantom links aren't added to a Category... once added, they're no longer phantoms, and don't show up in Special:Wantedpages. I'm not sure that's a terrible thing, so I'll make categorized stubs for those flags already linked unless there's good reason not too. --Callistan 10:47, 17 Jun 2005 (UTC)
