Wiki Help
Play in the Sandbox to experiment with wiki editing!
- Wiki's Help on Editing Page
- Please make an account before editing so people can find you again rather than by looking at your IP. Look up in the top right corner.
- Don't hesitate to footnote data using "[http://www.puzzlepirates.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=5889#70437]", which appears like: [1]. Link specific post anchors when appropriate.
- Use the Summary field to add a couple words about your change.
- Use the Talk pages Talk:Main Page to discuss changes or make suggestions and to argue over opinions. Opinions on where to buy the best rum or who the most evil flag is do not belong on the information pages.
- It is a good idea to sign your name & date/time on talk pages so we can easily track who said what by using: --~~~~ ...which displays as follows: --Lessah of Midnight 21:08, 17 Jun 2005 (UTC) (my username & date I edited this). On article pages, one should not add any signature.
- Add 'threads' to Talk pages by using sections, add sections by adding "== New Section ==", or faster (and marginally easier to edit) by pressing the '+' next to the "edit tab" at the top of a Talk page. Each secion has an "edit" link next to the section title.
- Alternate indenting of comments within a thread by prefacing every other comment with ":". You can indent multiple levels to show a branch of conversation
- Example of one indent
- Example of two indents
