The falchion is one of the seventeen sword types available to players in the game. It is produced at iron mongers. On subscription oceans, the falchion may only be used by a subscriber.

The falchion (normal or reversed) is considered by many to be one of the top strike swords in the game. Players have found this sword to be useful in creating big strikes and finishing the game quickly.

Beginners may have a great deal of difficulty using this sword. While the sword excels at large strikes, it does not have impressive mass sprinkles and has the same (awful) light sprinkle pattern as the foil. Players that have difficulty making strikes consistently may do better with a more well-rounded sword.

The reversed falchion is considered slightly stronger than the regular sword, because it can introduce a new colour into column four using sprinkle attacks.
